During my time living in Czechia, I became captivated by the delicate interactions between animals, insects, and the human world around them. This series is a study of presence that captures the delicate intersections between animals, insects, and human presence, exploring how they observe, interact, or remain distant from us.
Some animals met my gaze through the camera lens, acknowledging me in ways that felt both intimate and fleeting. Others existed beyond awareness, moving through their own rhythms, untouched by human attention. I was drawn to the tension between proximity and distance; between animals confined by barriers and those that roam freely, choosing their own relationship with human spaces.
